I don't know if you know Shangri-La, a fictional place described in the novel Lost Horizons by James Hilton. I have to admit that I haven't read the book, but when I was little I saw the movie on TV and I was fascinated. In the film, a group of explorers lost in the Himalayas and involved in a great blizzard arrived through a dark passageway to a bright and warm city where its inhabitants lived isolated from the outside world in a permanently happy land. They passed from the cruelest of winters to an earthly paradise, like the one who does not want the thing, and where the inhabitants of Shangri-La hardly aged and lived in harmony and peace. The truth is that I had that feeling when I visited this house… The street is not one of the most beautiful in Alicante, the goalkeeper needs a “facelift”, but you open the door and Ohh! there is Shangri-La, an authentic earthly paradise with views that make you fall in love… Although I don't know if the theme of aging will work here, but you will live in the most absolute placidity.
